The Announcements page is usually the first page you'll see when you enter your course. Your instructor will use this page for information such as changes to the syllabus, and reminders about homework assignments and quizzes.
Occasionally you will also see system-wide announcements posted on this page, such as downtime alerts or account update reminders.
By default, only messages posted in the last seven days are displayed. To view older announcments, click one of the tabs at the top of the announcements window.
