THIS GAME IS PLAYED JUST LIKE TAG EXCEPT THE "IT" THROWS A BUCKET OF
WATER ON THE PLAYERS INSTEAD OF TAGGING THEM IN ORDER TO CATCH THEM.
ONCE A PLAYER IS SPLASHED WITH WATER, HE BECOMES "IT" AND IS GIVEN
THE BUCKET TO FILL WITH WATER SO THAT HE CAN THROW IT ON SOMEONE
ELSE.

DORMITORY PRANK OR SPORT
ONE OF THE FAVORITE PASTIMES AT BURSLEY HALL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF
MICHIGAN WAS TO TRY TO FIGURE WAYS TO BORROW (STEAL) TRAYS FROM THE
CAFETERIA. YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THINGS OUT OF THE CAFETERIA
PEOPLE SPENT MUCH TIME DEVISING MANY SNEAKY WAYS TO BORROW THE TRAYS
THE LEAST IMAGINATIVE AND MY FAVORITE WAS TO SIMPLY WALK OUT THE
EMERGENCY EXIT WITH A TRAY WHEN NOBODY WAS WATCHING. ONCE YOU HAD A
TRAY YOU USED IT TO SLED DOWN THE STEEP, SNOW-COVERED HILL BEHIND OU
DORMITORY.

CUT THE PIE
THIS GAME IS PLAYED IN THE SNOW. IN ORDER TO MAKE IT MORE FUN, A
LARGE NUMBER OF CHILDREN (ABOUT 25) IS RECOMMENDED.
BEFORE THE GAME IS BEGUN, A LARGE CIRCLE IS MADE IN THE SNOW AND
SECTIONED OFF TO RESEMBLE A WAGON WHEEL OR CUT PIE. THE CIRCLE
NUMBER OF PLAYERS.
SHOULD BE ABOUT 25 FEET IN DIAMETER OR MORE, DEPENDING UPON THE
A PERSON IS THEN CHOSEN TO BE THE FOX. THIS PERSON CAN ONLY WALK
OR RUN ON THE CROSSING LINES OF THE PIE.
THE REMAINING PLAYERS ARE GEESE AND MUST STAY ON THE OUTER PATH
OF THE CIRCLE. THEY MAY WALK OR RUN IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION AND
WHEN THE FOX APPROACHES THEM, CAN STOP IN THEIR TRACKS TO AVOID
BEING TAGGED.
WHEN THE FOX APPROACHES A GOOSE, THAT GOOSE CAN ALSO RUN UP THE
NEAREST CROSSING LINE TO THE CENTER WHERE THEY ARE SAFE IF NOT TAGGE
IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING THERE. WHEN THE FOX ATTEMPTS TO TAG
ANOTHER PLAYER, THE PERSON IN THE CENTER CAN JOIN THE OUTER CIRCLE A
LONG AS THEY ARE NOT TAGGED.
THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME IS FOR THE FOX TO TAG SOMEONE ELSE TO BE
THE FOX, SO THEY CAN BECOME A GOOSE AND THE GAME CAN CONTINUE. THER
IS CONSTANT MOTION.

Marco Polo
We used to play this game in my neighbor's pool. Whoever is
"it" yells Marco, and all others in the pool must say Polo.
The object is to stay away from the aggressor. The person
who is it has his eyes closed and must keep them that way
until he catches someone in the pool.

Marco Polo
When I was little my cousins and I used to play a
swimming game, Marco Polo. The game is like hide and
seek in the water with a few variations. A person is
selected to search for the others. The "seeker" is
then blindfolded and spun around in the water. Then
all of the other players try to stay away from the
blindfolded person. However, as a clue the blindfolded
person yells out "Marco" and all of the other players
yell back "Polo". The players then try to stay away
from the blindfolded person. Whoever is caught first
is then the one who is blindfolded.
