LEMONADE

YOU START BY CHOOSING TWO TEAMS THAT HAVE
THREE OR MORE CHILDREN TO A TEAM. THEN YOU
CHOOSE AN AGREED-UPON MEDIUM THAT WILL SERVE
AS A DIVIDER BETWEEN THE TEAMS. ONE TEAM
IS CHOSEN TO BE "IT." THIS CAN BE DONE
BY FLIPPING A COIN OR GUESSING A COLOR.
THE "IT" TEAM THEN GATHERS TOGETHER AWAY FROM
THE OTHER TEAM AND DECIDES UPON A CHARADE THAT
THEY WILL PRESENT TO THE OTHER TEAM. THE CHARADE
MUST REPRESENT AN OCCUPATION OF SOME SORT. THEN
THE OTHER TEAM CHANTS, "LEMONADE, LEMONADE SHOW US
YOUR TRADE." THE "IT" TEAM ENACTS THEIR CHARADE.
IF SOMEONE ON THE OTHER TEAM GUESSES IT ALL OF THE
"IT" TEAM MEMBERS MUST TRY TO REACH A PRESET PLACE OF
SAFETY. IF THEY ARE CAUGHT THEY MUST JOIN THE OPPOSING
TEAM. THEN THE OPPOSITE TEAM ENACTS A CHARADE.
IF NO ONE GUESSES THE CHARADE THE CHARADERS DO
ANOTHER CHARADE.

HAVE YOU SEEN MY BIRD TODAY?

PLAYERS SIT IN EITHER A ROW OR A CIRCLE. AN "IT"
IS CHOSEN. "IT" MENTALLY CHOOSES A COLOR AND THEN
PROCEEDS TO ASK A PLAYER, "HAVE YOU SEEN MY BIRD
TODAY?" THE PLAYER SAYS YES AND "IT" ASKS, "WHAT
COLOR WAS IT?" IF THE PLAYER ANSWERS WITH THE SAME
THAT "IT" HAD MENTALLY CHOSEN, "IT" EITHER THROWS A
HANDFUL OF GRASS OR A SMALL CUP OF WATER INTO THEIR
FACE (WHAT YOU WILL USE IS DICTATED BY THE WEATHER
CONDITIONS). IF THE PLAYER DOES NOT SAY THE SAME
COLOR THAT "IT" HAS CHOSEN, "IT" MUST ASK EACH
PLAYER UNTIL SOMEONE SAYS THE RIGHT COLOR. THAT
PLAYER THEN BECOMES "IT".
