VERSE ABOUT FOOD
SHAKE AND SHAKE
THE KETCHUP BOTTLE.
NONE'LL COME AND
THEN A LOT'LL.
Submitter comment:
I THINK OUR FAMILY ORIGINALLY GOT THIS VERSE FROM BENNET CERF'S
HOUSEFUL OF LAUGHTER BUT BY NOW ENOUGH PEOPLE IN THE FAMILY KNOW IT
THAT WHENEVER SOMEONE SEEMS TO BE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH GETTING THE
KETCHUP OUT SOMEONE ELSE IN THE FAMILY WILL START SAYING THIS VERSE.

The phrase refers to a hard rain. I don't know where the symbolism of animals comes in.

Urban Legend
Nashville Reservoir
The reservoir used to be a place for many people to sight-see. They could climb to the top of the wall and look in at our city's water supply. A locked gate was placed there becasue so many people were using the water supply to unload unwanted cats, dogs, babies, and trash.

HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHTS
THE TEST FAMILY OWNS MUCH DOWNTOWN REAL ESTATE IN INDIANAPOLIS,
AND HAS AN OLD HOUSE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE COUNTY, JUST OUTSIDE
OF TOWN. THE GRANDFATHER'S GHOST IS SAID TO INHABIT THE NOW EMPTY
HOUSE. THIS IS BECAUSE AT NIGHT, BLUE LIGHTS CAN BE SEEN
FROM THE ROAD, COMING FROM THE WINDOWS. THERE ALSO SEEMS TO BE
A GREAT POPULATION OF CATS INHABITING THE AREA. THE OLD MAN
IS SAID TO HAVE HAD MANY WHILE HE WAS ALIVE. IT IS A POPULAR
LOCAL LEGEND, AND THE HOUSE IS OFTEN VISITED BY THE CURIOUS.
