OAK ISLAND, NOVA SCOTIA

ON THIS ISLAND, THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE IMMENSE TREASURE. MANY
PROSPECTORS HAVE TRIED TO FIND IT BY BUILDING MINING SHAFTS. AT
ONE TIME, THE PROSPECTORS HIT A SLAB OF WOOD AND FOUND SOME GOLD.
BUT SINCE THEN, THE PROSPECTORS HAVE HAD BAD LUCK, THEIR SHAFTS
HAVE MYSTERIOUSLY FLOODED AND NO GOLD HAS TURNED UP. IN ADDITION,
THERE HAVE BEEN INCIDENTS OF CRIME ON THE ISLAND, (AND) A FEW
PROSPECTORS HAVE EVEN BEEN KILLED.

Submitter comment: I READ THIS IN "TRUE" MAGAZINE A FEW YEARS BACK.

SEE SU 692406-1 TO 692406-2

Submitter comment: THIS ARTWORK COMES FROM BRAZIL. ON THE BACK OF EACH PIECE IS THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
(ORIGINAL SPELLING RETAINED). I DECLARE THAT THIS IS REAL COPPER HANDWORK, APPLICATED ONTO
TRUE FOSSILISED STONE WHICH IS MORE TAN 120 MILLIONS YEARS OLD. MADE BIJ YOUR WELKNOWN DUTCH
ARTIST, JOHANNES WILHELMUS VAN DARTELEN. UNIQUE IN THE WORLD: THE ARTIST GIVES HIS ADDRESS AS
AVENIDA BRASIL 456, CAMPINAS, E.S.PAULO, BRASIL IF WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT HIS WORK BEING
UNIQUE IS TRUE THEN THE ARTWORK ISN'T REALLY FOLKART. I TURNED IT IN HOWEVER FOR I CANNOT
BELIEVE THAT HE IS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD THAT MAKES THIS TYPE OF ARTWORK.

The ring is similar for males and females, and can be crafted of
silver or gold. It is made up of separate strands of gold or silver
wound together by a braid-like strand. It symbolizes the strength of
