There was a man who set off to give away some beautiful
horses and roosters to the man of the household. He put the
horses in the bottom of his truck and the roosters on the top.
He drove up to one house, saw some children and began to ask who
was the man of the house. A man came out and said in a harsh
voice, "What the hell do you want to know who the man of the
house is. Can't you see I'm wearing the overalls? So now you
know I'm the man of this house." The man with the horse and
roosters told him, "You don't have to get all upset, I just want
to know who the man of the house is because I have something to
give him totally free."
He had the man of the house look at what he had brought and told
him he could have any of the horses in the truck if he was the
man of the house. The man looked and looked but all of the
horses were too beautiful to pick from so he turned around and
called his wife to come help pick. The man carrying the gifts
ask, "Why do you need to call for your wife if you are the man of
the house and since you can't pick for yourself, you just take
one of those roosters from up top."

If you have asthma, measure your height to a tree and mark
it. As the tree grows you will grow out of the asthma.
James Callow comment:
Puckett, Ohio, no. 2325: "If a child has asthma, take him
into the woods and find a young tree. Measure the child up to
the tree and mark his height by putting a nail into the tree. As
the tree grows the child will outgrow his asthma."

Chin Tickler
I remember this little game my grandmother played on my face
and head. She would knock on my head and say, "head knocker", then
touch my eyes and say, "eye peepers," then pinch my nose and say,
"nose blower," then place her finger on my mouth and say, "mouth
chopper" and tickle under my chin and say, "chin tickler."
Submitter comment:
The two of us would continue the little game, laughing until
one of us would finally give in due to stomach pain from laughter.
I did the same with my children.

Japan -- Abortion
In Japan, abortion and birth control are not allowed. There is a
strong concern for the spirit of the unborn. They have abortion
cemeteries for victims of abortion. In these cemeteries, there are
stone figures of babies, on which are placed little knitted caps.
These babies are called "water babies".
