A pregnant woman should mix her urine with Drano. The
resultant color determines the sex of the child.
Unfortunately, the informant (a nurse) forgets which color is
which.

Family ritual after the birth of a child
The first time our family is together after of birth of a baby
in the family we always have the same dinner and ritualistic
behaviors. First of all, my family always serves green beans,
chicken, rice, and a cake for the baby although the baby may or
may not be present at that particular gathering. We all sing
happy birthday to the child, and then talk about all of the other
children's days when the family gathered together for them.
After the dinner, the women go to the kitchen to wash the dishes
and clean up after the meal so they can talk, while the men all
sit in the living room smoking their cigars.

Japan -- Abortion
In Japan, abortion and birth control are not allowed. There is a
strong concern for the spirit of the unborn. They have abortion
cemeteries for victims of abortion. In these cemeteries, there are
stone figures of babies, on which are placed little knitted caps.
These babies are called "water babies".

Japan -- Household Roles
In Japan, the father has no part in raising the children. The
mother does this, as well as controls all the money and the household.
The wife pays no attention to the husband once they have children.
All of her time is devoted to the babies. They do not have
babysitters; only the husbands are allowed to go out with each other -
no mothers allowed to socialize without children. They believe that
Western women are too self-centered and seek too much self
satisfaction.
The main objective of the Japanese is to have the best of everything
for their children. Fathers will drive 3 hours to work if they have
to in order to give their children the best schools.

CIRCUMCISION RITE
THE CONTINUED USE OF FLINTS AS THE INSTRUMENT FOR
CIRCUMCISION UNTIL THE 17TH CENTURY IS CONNECTED TO
THE JEWISH LILITH MYTH. LILITH IS SAID TO BE
ADAM'S FIRST WIFE WHO LEFT HIM TO BEGET CHILDREN
WITH THE DEVIL.
IN ANCIENT TIMES, WHEN A GIRL WAS BORN, THE JEWS PUT AN
"X" ON THE WALL. FOR A BOY, THEY PUT AN "O"--
TO KEEP LILITH FROM INVADING THE SPIRIT OF THE BOY CHILD.
CIRCUMCISION BY FLINT WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN ONE FELL
SWOOP, AND EVOLVED FROM THE CIRCLE ON THE WALL
SUPERSTITION.

Determining Sex of Unborn Child:
A pin on a thread, if held motionless over the wrist of an expectant mother, can determine sex of child by the motion which it takes up after it is perfectly still. If pin or needle takes up a circular motion than first child weill be a girl. If needle takes up back and forth motion then a boy. If pin stops and then moves again, this can be used to predict the future sex and number of children.
