THERE'S A STORY MY DAD USED TO TELL (VALIDITY QUESTIONABLE) ABOUT
THE SNOW IN HIS HOME TOWN, MANISTEE, MICHIGAN, WHEN HE WAS A BOY.
HE TELLS OF THE SNOW BEING SO HIGH SOME WINTERS THAT THE MOTORISTS
HAD TO TIE RED RAGS AT THE ENDS OF THEIR RADIO ANTENNAS SO THAT
THEY COULD SEE EACH OTHER ABOVE THE SNOW.
