YOU'LL BE UP SALT RIVER FOR SURE.
Submitter comment:
SAID BY NEIGHBOR, MRS. FLOYD SHRADER, IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY,
1945-1972 TO EXPRESS THAT SOMEONE WAS LOST, OR THAT THEY
COULDN'T GET OUT OF A PARTICULAR SITUATION WITHOUT A LOT OF
TROUBLE. SHE SAID THAT HENRY CLAY WENT UP SALT RIVER IN
KENTUCKY TO CAMPAIGN AND GOT LOST UP THERE AND COULDN'T FIND
HIS WAY OUT. MRS. SHRADER WAS FROM WASHINGTON, D.C. BUT LIVED
IN LOUISVILLE, WHERE HER HUSBAND WAS WITH THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS
IN THE GROUND WATER DIVISION.
