THERE IS A FAMOUS CHATEAU-FORT IN HUNGARY AT DEVA.
WHEN IT WAS FIRST BUILT IN THE MIDDLE AGES, THE
FOUNDATION WALLS KEPT CRUMBLING. THEY WOULD REBUILD
THEM EACH TIME, BUT THEY WOULD SOON FALL. THEN
SOMEONE PROPHESIZED (PROPHESIED) THAT THE FIRST
WOMAN TO PASS THE WALLS MUST BE BURIED IN THE
FOUNDATION FOR THE WALLS TO STAND. THE CHIEF
MASON, KOMUVES, WAS STANDING ON THE HILL ONE DAY
WHEN HE SAW A CARRIAGE COMING UP THE SIDE OF THE HILL.
AS IT DREW NEARER HE SAW THAT HIS WIFE WAS IN THE
COACH. SO HE BURIED HIS OWN WIFE, MADAME KOMUVES
KELEMENNE, IN THE MORTAR WHILE SHE WAS STILL ALIVE.
THE FORTRESS IS STILL STANDING TODAY.
