IN ENGLAND PEOPLE USED TO PUT BROOMS OUTSIDE THEIR DOORS TO WARD
OFF WEREWOLVES. THE WEREWOLVES COULD NOT RESIST THE TEMPTATION
TO COUNT EACH BRISTLE OF THE BROOMS, AND THIS TASK KEPT THEM
BUSY UNTIL THE FULL MOON DISAPPEARED.
