FINNISH TALE: FROST, HARE AND FOX
THE FROST, THE HARE, AND THE FOX BEGAN A COMPETITION ABOUT
WHICH ONE WOULD SUFFER THE MOST. THE FROST BIT AS HARD AS
HE COULD. THE HARE HOPPED AROUND AND LAID HIMSELF ON THE
SNOW IN PAIN AND SAID, "OH, OH, HOW HOT IT IS." THE FOX
THOUGHT, "WHAT WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE THE HARE IS SO CLOSE TO
DEATH." SO THE FROST COULDN'T BITE ANY MORE AND HAD TO GIVE
