Go to Sleep!!
My little sister has more energy than three children and when
bed time came around it was four children. Me on the other hand
was ready to sleep at bed time. We shared a room so this caused a
problem. To get her to go to sleep I would tell her that Thunder
and Lightning does not like noise at night and if she was not
quiet they would come and get her. She was so terrified that she
would put her under the cover and not make a sound. Within five
minutes she would be fast asleep. This worked well on rainy
days.

Now that she is older we can laugh about it. I think it is
neat. It's as if I've started my own folk story that can be passed
on.
