OVER A SLIVER. THE AFFECTED AREA WAS THEN WRAPPED IN A TOURNIQUET
AND BY THE FOLLOWING DAY THE INFECTION HAD BEEN DRAWN OUT
AND THE SLIVER BROUGHT TO A HEAD.
