The Right to Die
The Public Agenda is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that conducts public opinion research. The Right to Die issue guide includes an overview of the issues involved, discussions of the pros and cons of different approaches, survey findings and trends of public opinions, and information on sources of bias in survey results.
Euthanasia and End of Life Decisions
Hinman, Lawrence M..Lawrence M. Hinman is a philosophy professor, author, and director of the Values Institute at the University of San Diego. In this website he includes links to online videos that feature bioethics experts, links to court cases, and links to NPR and PBS specials on euthanasia right to die issues. The site also includes a bibliography of euthanasia resources.
This website includes a detailed timeline that outlines Terry Shiavo’s care, the legal petitions, motions and appeals filed by her parents and husband, legislative action by the U.S. Congress and President Bush, and court orders and rulings. The site also has links to religious resources on right to die issues.
