During the years 1965 and 1966, the University changed its annual President's dinner for the faculty to an event called “Madrigal Dinner Concert”. Members of the University of Detroit Chorus, dressed in authentic costumes of 16th century landed gentry and their servants sang madrigals as they served the traditional roast sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, wassail, and flaming plum pudding. The songs below were sung at this event.
