THE GHOST OF CHAPEL HILL, TENNESSEE
DURING THE CIVIL WAR, A BRAKEMAN ON A TRAIN FELL OFF
AND HAD HIS HEAD CUT OFF. HE GOES OUT EVERY NIGHT
WITH HIS LANTERN LOOKING FOR HIS HEAD. A LIGHT CAN
BE SEEN SWINGING ALONG THE TRACKS IN GREEN, WHITE,
AND RED, THE COLORS OF A BRAKEMAN'S LANTERN.
