POLISH

AFTER THE GRAND MARCH AT A POLISH WEDDING, THE BRIDAL
COUPLE SITS DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF A LARGE CIRCLE COMPOSED
OF THE WEDDING GUESTS. THE BRIDE SITS ON THE GROOM'S LAP.
THE GUESTS SING VARIOUS SONGS. THE GUESTS SING "TWELVE
ANGELS." DURING THIS SONG, THE MAID OF HONOR TAKES OFF
THE BRIDE'S VEIL. THE BRIDE WEARS THE MAID OF HONOR'S
HEADPIECE. THE VEIL IS PASSED ALONG TO EACH BRIDESMAID.
THE BRIDESMAIDS, IN TURN, DANCE WITH THEIR ESCORTS.
THE MOTHER AND FATHER OF THE BRIDE DANCE TOGETHER. THE
NEWLYWEDS CHANGE PARTNERS WITH THE PARENTS. THE GROOM'S
PARENTS ARE THEN ASKED TO DANCE TOGETHER. THE SONG AT
THIS TIME IS THE "ANNIVERSARY WALTZ." THE WEDDING
GUESTS JOIN IN THE DANCING. THE SONG NOW IS "LET ME
CALL YOU SWEETHEART."
