Every second weekend of August has been the standing time of
our family gathering, we refer to it as the Hejka (my maiden name)
Round-Up. We all go up to my parents' home and we pitch our tents
on their property to camp and have a good time. Each year someone
is in charge of organizing the activities, such as golfing,
fishing, hiking, swimming, eating and of course the campfires and
just plain relaxing and enjoyment by all. This is a great idea to
have the same date every year so that everyone knows well enough in
advance to be able to participate.
