Association for the Advancement of Social Work With Groups
The Association for the Advancement of Social Work with Groups, Inc. (AASWG) is the premier international association for social workers and allied helping professionals engaged in group work. The purpose of this non-profit, member-driven organization is to promote excellence in group work practice, education, field instruction, research and publication.
Association of Social Work Boards
The Association of Social Work Boards assists social work regulatory bodies in carrying out their legislated mandates, and encourages jurisdictional efforts to protect a diverse public served by social workers who are regulated through common values, ethics, and practice standards. The Association helps to foster public and professional understanding of the value, competency, and accountability of regulated social workers.
Council on Social Work Education
The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) aims to promote and strengthen the quality of social work education through preparation of competent social work professionals by providing national leadership and a forum for collective action. CSWE pursues this mission through setting and maintaining policy and program standards, accrediting bachelor's and master's degree programs in social work, promoting research and faculty development, and advocating for social work education.
The goal of the Michigan Board of Social Work website is to provide up-to-date information on various topics related to the practice of social work in Michigan.
