Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Servoces

An agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, CMS administers the Medicare and Medicaid systems.

Commonwealth Fund

"The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation that aims to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society's most vulnerable, including low-income people, the uninsured, minority Americans, young children, and elderly adults."

Health Care for America Now

HCAN is an "issue advocacy organization"  i.e., a lobbying group.  It is a coalition of dozens of non-profits, unions, and political action committees.  The stated purpose is to urge passage of the Obama administration's health care reform bill.

Information produced by the Administation doesn't claim to be objective, but the title Reality Check suggests this site offers another, real version of what the current Administration's proposal would involve.

An explanation of the  health care reform legislation passed in March 2010.  Keep  in mind that this site is controled by the White House.

National Coalition on Health Care
