THERE IS ANOTHER UKRAINIAN CUSTOM WHICH SOME
FOLLOW TODAY STATING THAT AFTER THE TRADITIONAL
CHRISTMAS EVE MEAL, PEOPLE LEAVE THE LEFT-OVERS
ON THE TABLE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE NIGHT IN
ORDER THAT MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY WHO WERE DECEASED
MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT THAT ONE NIGHT IN THE YEAR.
