MURDER MOUNTAIN.

THERE'S THIS HILL NEAR CHELSEA, MICHIGAN, THAT EVERYONE CALLS
" MURDER MOUNTAIN." THE WAY I HEARD IT, THERE WAS THIS YOUNG
COUPLE WHO WENT OUT THERE FOR A PICNIC IN THE MOONLIGHT. I GUESS
THEY WERE MAKING OUT OR SOMETHING, WHEN SOMEBODY OR SOMETHING
ATTACKED THEM. THERE WAS NO SIGN OF A STRUGGLE, WHEN TWO LITTLE
BOYS FOUND THEIR BODIES THE NEXT DAY. THEY WERE STILL IN AN
EMBRACE, BUT THEY WERE BLOODIED UP SOMETHING AWFUL. THE COPS NEVER
FOUND OUT WHO DID IT, BUT EVER SINCE THEN THAT HILL'S BEEN CALLED
" MURDER MOUNTAIN ". I GUESS THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 1930.

Submitter comment: THE INFORMANT REMEMBERS SOME OF HIS CLASSMATES TELLING THIS AT
SCHOOL.
