Mandy
Mandy was a Bahama girl (2x's)
(Mandy oh Mandy, Mandy Mine. REFRAIN)
Dark Brown hair and eyes of blue,
love nobody else but you. REFRAIN
Met her on a Saturday night
Was the happiest night of my life. REFRAIN
Married her on Bahama sands
Put a wedding ring on her hand. REFRAIN
Mandy had a little baby
Had a baby just for me. REFRAIN
Baby made my Mandy cry
Cry so hard she was sure to die. REFRAIN
Buried her on Bahama sands
With her wedding ring on her hand. REFRAIN
Mandy was a wife to me
Now she's just a memory. REFRAIN
There's a teardrop in my eye
There to remain until I die. REFRAIN

Along with this song goes the belief that it should only be sung in darkness or at night or it will start to rain.
This song was learned at a Girl Scout Camp at age of fourteen.

Left My Gal in the Mountains
Left my gal in the mountains
Left her standing in the rain
Went down to the railroad
Caught myself a midnight train
Beat my way to Georgia
Landed in a gamblin' town
Got myself in trouble
Shot a county sheriff down
They put the handcuffs on me
Put me on a pullman train
Took me to Atlanta
Tied me with a ball and chain
The jury read the verdict
Murder in the first degree
The judge says take this prisoner
To the penitentiary
Left my gal in the mountains
Left her standing all alone
Last night I dreamed I got a letter
Saying honey won't you please come home
She said she was lonely
Told me that her love was true
Then I dreamed I wrote a letter
Saying I'm a-comin' home to you
Then I woke up this morning
Lying in the Atlanta jail
No one here to love me
No one here to go my bail
Prison walls all around me
Guards a-walking by my door
My heart's so sad and lonely
'Cause I won't see my baby no more

Titanic
They built the ship Titanic
To sail the ocean blue
And they thought they had a ship
That the water would never go through
But the good Lord raised his hand
Said the ship would never land
It was sad when the great ship went down.
CHORUS:
It was sad, so sad, it was sad, alleluia,
It was sad when the great ship went down
To the bottom of the sea.
Husbands and wives and little children lost their lives.
It was sad when the great ship went down.
They were off the Greenland shore
When the water began to pour
And the rich refused to associate with the poor.
So they put them down below
Where they'd be the first to go.
Lady Astor turned around
Just to see her husband drown
As the ship Titanic
Made a gurgling sound.
So she wrapped herself in mink
As the boat began to sink.
They put the lifeboats out on that dark and stormy sea
And the band played on with
"Near My God to Thee" (sing slowly)
The captain sent a wire
But the lines were all on fire.

WHO'S GONNA BE YOUR MAN?
WHO'S GONNA SHOE YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FEET?
AND WHO'S GONNA GLOVE YOUR HANDS?
AND WHO'S GONNA KISS YOUR RED RUBY LIPS?
WHO'S GONNA BE YOUR MAN?
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
PAPA'S GONNA SHOE MY PRETTY LITTLE FEET,
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
IF PAPA'S GONNA SHOE YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FEET,
THEN WHO'S GONNA GLOVE YOUR HANDS?
AND WHO'S GONNA KISS YOUR RED RUBY LIPS?
WHO'S GONNA BE YOUR MAN?
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
MAMA'S GONNA GLOVE MY PRETTY LITTLE HANDS,
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
IF PAPA'S GONNA SHOE YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FEET,
AND MAMA'S GONNA GLOVE YOUR HANDS,
THEN WHO'S GONNA KISS YOUR RED RUBY LIPS?
WHO'S GONNA BE YOUR MAN?
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
BROTHER'S GONNA KISS MY RED RUBY LIPS,
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
IF PAPA'S GONNA SHOE YOUR PRETTY LITTLE FEET,

AND BROTHER'S GONNA KISS YOUR RED RUBY LIPS,
WHO'S GONNA BE YOUR MAN?
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
I DON'T NEED NO MAN.
THE ONLY, ONLY MAN I EVER DID LOVE,
IS ON THAT TRAIN AND GONE.

The Skunk Song
I stuck my head in a little skunk hole
And the little skunk said, "Well, bless my soul!"
"Take it out! Take it out! Remove it!"
I didn't take it out and the little skunk said,
"If you don't take it out you'll wish you had."
Psssssssssssssssst! I removed it.

Little Shoes
Little shoes are sold at the doorway of heaven
And to all the tattered little angels are given.
CHORUS:
Slumber my baby, slumber my baby
Slumber my baby, a rou a rou
God will bless the children so peacefully sleeping.
God will bless their mothers whose watch they are keeping.
