Nature
As a child, I can remember the summertime rainstorms that would
occur during the day. While the sun would still shine, it would
been raining cats and dogs. It was a very beautiful, but strange
sight to see to two phenomena going on at the same time. My Aunt
would always say when that happened the devil was beating his wife.
If a rainbow appeared, then she'd say that they have made up.

IT USED TO BE TRADITION IN OUR FAMILY TO HAVE ADVENT CARDS. ONE
MEMBER OF THE FAMILY WOULD MAKE CARDS WITH A PICTURE AND A NAME
OF A SAINT ON IT. WE WOULD PICK ONE FROM A HAT AND HAVE TO TELL ABOUT
"OUR" SAINT THE FOLLOWING WEEK. THE CATCH WAS THAT THE FIRST LETTER
OF THE NAMES COMBINED WOULD SPELL A WORD (EX. "CHRISTMAS") AND WE
WOULD TRY TO FIGURE WHAT IT WAS.
