Elizabeth LaForest, RSM graduated in 1947 with a BAA in English from Mercy College of Detroit. She earned a MA from the University of Detroit and a PhD from the University of Laval. She is a retired teacher.
The award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit.
