Bio:
Mary Tracy graduated with a double major of biology/business. She has maintained a GPA of 3.43 while being continually active in many student organizations such as student government, Residence Hall Association, Pre-Med Society, Campus Ministry and the Catalyst newspaper staff. She has served the College as a member of the committee on Student Affairs, the Student Admissions Team, the Presidential Ambassadors, and as a student mentor. Other volunteer activities include the Sleep Out for COTS, the Sleep Out for Simon House, and the Coalition of Students of Catholic College for the Needy. Mary, the daughter of biology professor Dr. Edward Tracy, has also received the National Collegiate Student Government Achievement Award, the National Collegiate Achievement Award and was named in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
The award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit on May 12, 1990.
