Bio:
Kathryn Hart Sheehy graduated in 1969 with a BS in medical record science. Soon after graduation she became involved in various activities and organizations which ultimately led to her election as president of the American Medical Record Association. This national organization is comprised of 30,000 professionals. She had held numerous leadership positions in the Southeastern Michigan Medical Record Association, the Michigan Medical Record Association as well as the American Medical Records Association. She has been featured as a speaker at local and national conferences and has had numerous articles published. She is currently the director of Medical Record Services at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Michigan.
Award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit on May 12, 1990.
