Citation:
A leader who, in the best tradition of American enterprise, has squarely faced the great risks inherent in gread achievement, who, as a result, applied his talent and zeal to revitalizing major segments of the nation's coal and motor industries, and who has also found time to vitally concern himself with the problems of higher education, George H. Love does indeed possess all the credentials that identify a leader among men.
