Citation:
Upon George William Weadock, Bachelor of Laws, master scholar, dean among those now actively engaged in its practice within our state, for that during more than half a century of a busy professional life he hath been a veritable minister of justice among his fellowmen; for that his professional career has been marked by strict adherence to the highest ethical standards, both unto his own credit and for an example unto his brethren; for that in his own community he has merited respect and gained honor, and for that in his private relationships he has become numbered among the outstanding Roman Catholic laymen of his state, the University of Detroit confers the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, and inscribes his name upon the roll of those who have received its academic distinctions. Commencement, University of Detroit, June 15, 1928.
