Arjay Miller, dean emeritus of the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, is a well-respected authority in business and academic arenas. Following a successful 23-year career at Ford Motor Company, he brought his expertise into the classroom, sharing his experience with the business world’s future talent. Miller was graduated from UCLA in 1937, and then spent three years at the University of California at Berkeley as a graduate student and teaching fellow. During World War II and following the war, he spent 23 years at Ford Motor, including five as president, from 1963-1968. From 1969-1979, he served as Dean and professor of Management at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
