Assistant Professor, School of Architecture
1971
Bio:
Fr. Green has often been called the "Father of the School of Architecture" at U. of D. When he came to the University 13 years ago, the department of architecture was part of the College of Engineering. He realized the inadequacies of the program and moved to update the curriculum, regenerate the faculty and establish a separate School of Architecture. "Without Fr. Green's vision, we would not have the excellent School of Architecture we have today," Dean Leon said as he presented the Honorary Alumnus Award to Fr. Green.
Fr. Green was in charge of the Neighborhood Relations Activity, forerunner of the University's Centre for Neighborhood Relations.
