Bio:
Caroline J.Gillin. BA in Latin 1960. As Director of the Division of Institutional Development, Office of Post Secondary Education for the United State Department of Education in Washington D.C., Caroline works with institutions receiving funds under the Institutional Aid Program, Title III of the Higher Education Acts of 1965. She has been with the United States Department of Education since 1969. Prior to that she was at Mercy College as an Instructor, became Associate Professor, and then Chairperson of Teacher Education. She was also Grant Manager of the Consortium for Development of Research Potential at four Detroit area Colleges.
The award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit on May 14, 1988.
