Color Drawings Collection
Since the mid 1970's, Maurice Greenia, Jr. has executed hundreds of color drawings.
Many of these began with an ink drawing that was then colored with color pencils and then re-inked. This strengthens the black of the line which may have changed or been covered by the pencils. Others are colored more subtly.
There are also color drawings done with crayons, chalk or colored pencils. Sometimes he uses combinations of all these mediums and sometimes he adds found materials or paint as part of the drawing's composition.
