Bio:
Agnes Rosowski Bongero. BS Medical Technology 1963. As Director of the Physician Assistant Program at Mercy College she supervises all program faculty and coordinates all policy-making and long-range planning for the development and implementation of the program’s curriculum. Through successful grant writing, Agnes secured more than one million dollars in federal funding to support activities in the Physician Assistant Program, Title III Projects, Medical Technology Career Mobility Program and Community Service Projects. Her guidance and leadership established the master degree programs in Allied Health Education, Health Services Administration, Nurse Anesthesiology, and the Competency Based Program in Medical Technology.
Active in Alumni activities, Agnes has been on the Alumni board, Reunion Planning Committees, Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Senior Award Committee, the national Alumni Committee and College Leadership Committee for the Campaign for Mercy.
The award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit on May 14, 1988.
