Alumni College Service Award

1990

Bio:

Mary Ann Campbell Dolan graduated in 1946 with a BS in speech and drama.  Since that time, she has demonstrated her commitment to mercy through her loyalty, her generosity and her leadership.  Unbeknownst to most, she has been a staunch advocate for improved relations between the College and its alumni.  She has promoted alumni participation on the Board of Trustees and on College committees.  She as acted as an ambassador in the community by urging others to attend and to support the College.  Additionally, she has served on various alumni committees, most recently, the national Alumni Committee for The Campaign For Mercy.  She has hosted alumni groups including a pre-campaign consultation meeting and a volunteer session to assist in a College project at Christmas.  Her generosity also extends to the students through her scholarship support.

The award was presented by Sr. Maureen A. Fay, O.P., President, Mercy College of Detroit on May 12, 1990.
