Borrowing
The University of Detroit Mercy has signed license agreements with vendors to provide indexing, abstracting, and full-text access to electronic databases. Each of these licenses comes with specific user privileges and restrictions. Entries for each subscription database on the portal include a "SHOW/HIDE LICENSE INFORMATION" link; click this link to view explanations of privileges and restrictions. Other databases provide by UDM Libraries are either publicly accessible through the Internet or provided by the Library of Michigan funding from the state legislature.

- accuracy or completeness of materials delivered by journal, book, or other publishers
- loss of profits, revenues or failure to realize expected savings, or grade received in academic course due to use of information contained in database(s)
