Your name is synonymous with the advancement of women on the U of D campus. At a time when women students were a definite minority, your dedicated and vigorous leadership carved out programs which gave women students their deserved place in Jesuit higher education. Your life-long devotion to personal learning has set high standards for academic associates and students alike. A dynamic teacher, your adaptability and innovations have earned a national reputation and a high respect of your peers. By sharing your research and training in human relationships with professionals and students across the nation you have enhanced countless institutions and organizations. Throughout your career you have consistently accepted new challenges to provide leadership and inspiration in each assignment and talk. The University of Detroit, as it is today, has been greatly shaped by your influence. The University community takes great pride in your accomplishments and honors you for what you have helped the University of Detroit become.
