N.B. THE JAPANESE BATH TUB IS A WOODEN, DEEP TUB COVERED WITH A LID.
WHEN NOT IN USE, THE BATH IS COVERED WITH THE LID.
INFORMANT LIVES IN JAPAN AND LEARNED THE ABOVE FROM HIS CHILDREN.
