AT A POLISH WEDDING, THE END OF THE DAY IS
CELEBRATED BY HAVING THE BRIDE AND GROOM SIT IN
THE CENTER WITH ALL THE PEOPLE ENCIRCLING THEM.
THEN A LEADER REMOVES THE BRIDE'S VEIL,
PLACES IT ON HER OWN HEAD AND SINGING, MARCHES
AROUND IN A CIRCLE. LATER THE BRIDE AND GROOM
DANCE WHILE THE CIRCLE OF PEOPLE STAND AND WATCH.
THIS CUSTOM HAS EXISTED FROM THE TIME OF HIS
GREAT GRANDPARENTS.
