AT A MEXICAN WEDDING, THERE IS A DANCE CALLED THE
"DOLLAR DANCE" (AMERICAN TRANSLATION). THE BRIDE
AND GROOM BEGIN DANCING AND ARE THE ONLY ONES ON THE
DANCEFLOOR. A FRIEND OF EITHER SIDE OF THE FAMILY,
USUALLY THE BEST MAN, HOLDS A SMALL CONTAINER AND
IF SOMEONE WANTS A DANCE WITH EITHER THE BRIDE OR
GROOM, THEY MUST PUT A DOLLAR IN THE CONTAINER.

Submitter comment: THE INFORMANT TOLD ME THAT THIS IS THE WAY THE NEWLY WED COUPLE GETS MOST OF THEIR MONEY.
