THE WHITE INDIAN

Historical record from James Callow Folklore Archive.

ONE DAY AN INDIAN CAME INTO THE SALOON BACK IN
THE OLD WEST. HE WAS CARRYING A SHOTGUN, A PAIL OF
MANURE, AND A CAT. HE ORDERED, DRANK, TOOK THE
SHOTGUN AND SHOT THE PAIL, AND CHASED THE CAT OUT
OF THE SALOON. THIS WENT ON FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS,
UNTIL THE BARTENDER ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS DOING.
HE SAID, "ME WANT TO BE LIKE WHITE MAN, GO TO
SALOON, DRINK, SHOOT THE SHIT, AND CHASE PUSSY."
