WHEN A DAUGHTER MARRIES, THE RELATIVES REMAIN AT THE PLACE OF THE
MARRIAGE FOR A WEEK OR MORE. THE LATE COMERS SLEEP IN THE HAY.
THE FOOD CONSISTS OF BEEF, PORK, AND MUTTON, CHEESES, CRISP DONUTS
WITHOUT THE HOLE, POWDERED OVER WITH SUGAR, CHOPPED MEAT WRAPPED IN A
CABBAGE LEAF CALLED GOLABKI. THIS IS TOPPED OFF WITH LODY- A KIND OF
ICE CREAM WHICH DOES NOT MELT FAST, BUT CONTAINS BITS OF CINNAMON
AND CITRON AND CANDIES.
