ON CHRISTMAS MORNING THE MOTHER COMES TO WAKE HER CHILDREN AND
BRINGS THEM "COMMUNION." THIS IS A LARGE WAFER OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
WHICH THE PRIEST GAVE HER AND SHE BREAKS OFF A PIECE FOR
EACH CHILD.
