CHRISTMAS CUSTOM

THE POLISH PEOPLE'S CUSTOM IS TO HAVE A COMPLETE FISH MEAL AT
CHRISTMAS TIME--LEAVE THE LEFTOVERS, DO NO DISHES AND UPON
RETURNING FROM MASS, THEY INDULGE AGAIN IN EATING AND DO THIS
UNTIL ALL FOOD HAS BEEN CONSUMED. THIS MEAL IS CONSIDERED TO BE
A HOLY MEAL AND ANY FOOD SERVED SHOULD NOT BE THROWN WAAY.
