SATURDAY BATH

SATURDAY NIGHT WAS BATH NIGHT. WATER WAS CARRIED
IN BUCKETS AND HEATED ON THE OLD WOOD STOVE. THE
WASH TUB WAS BROUGHT INTO THE KITCHEN. THE
CLEANEST ONE GOT TO TAKE HIS BATH FIRST AND ON DOWN
THE LINE, AS THE SAME WATER WAS USED. THEN STANDING
