Advanced Electric Vehicle

Curriculum

This is a 15 credit (5 course) certificate program. Nine credits (3 courses) are required core courses, and 6 credits (2 courses) are electives which may be chosen from the list below.  Students must maintain a GPA above 3.0.  Grades below "C" will not advance a student towards graduation.

AEV 5010 Intro to Advanced Electric Vehicles 3 cr.
AEV 5020 Controls Modeling & Design for AEV 3 cr.
AEV 5050 E-Drives 3 cr.

Elective courses (choose 2 courses - 6 credit hours)

AEV 5030 Energy Storage 3 cr.
AEV 5040 Power Electronics 3 cr.
AEV 5060 Innovation and System Architecture 3 cr.
AEV 5070 Systems Engineering 3 cr.

Students wishing to specialize in a particular focal area should choose their elective courses to reflect the desired focus.
