Referrals should be made if an individual is experiencing COVID 19 symptoms, is worried about a possible exposure, or is exhibiting concerning behavior related to the university's COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Bias-Related Incidents or Harassment

Members of the University community should contact the Dean of Students if they have experienced or witnessed a bias-related incident or harassment or if they believe that they or another person have been the target of a bias-related incident.
Title IX Office (Marjorie Lang, Title IX Coordinator): 313-993-1802
Faculty, students, and staff should contact the Dean of Students about any student whose behavior and/or emotional state raises significant concerns; who may have experienced traumatic personal events; or who may be a threat to their own safety or to member(s) of the university community. The Titan Success Network Referral form, managed by the Student Success Center, can be used to notify SSC staff of concerns related to a student’s academic success, including unpreparedness, need of mentoring, excessive absences, study skills remediation, etc. The SSC will notify other offices on campus as needed (e.g. Financial Aid). For students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses due to temporary hardship or unforeseen emergencies related to the COVID-19 virus. Decisions regarding the award and disbursement of funds are made on a case-by-case basis.
