IN BULGARIA THE NIGHT BEFORE SAINT GEORGE'S DAY A YOUNG LAMB IS KILLE
AND ITS BLOOD IS SMEARED ON THE ARBOR OF THE HOUSE. THE LAMB IS
THEN EATEN. CANDLES ARE BURNED WHICH HAVE GREENERY AROUND THEM
DURING THIS TIME.
