EASTER CUSTOM
AFTER THE EASTER SERVICE AT DAWN ON EASTER SUNDAY, A SLOVAK
CATHOLIC PRIEST BLESSES HOLY WATER. HE PLACES A BURNING "TRIPLE
CANDLE" OR "TROJCA" IN THE WATER. THIS CANDLE WILL ALWAYS KEEP THE
WATER FRESH. THE PEOPLE BRING THEIR OWN CONTAINERS AND TAKE SOME OF
THE WATER HOME.
